YMCA – Caringbah

The YMCA is joining in with the Seniors Week initiative by providing activities to the Active Seniors NSW – Step Out & Get Active program in the Royal National Park on Friday 23rd March 2012. The YMCA will be offering activities on the day such as the Warm Up, Zumba and Circuit Training.

The YMCA is a vibrant, self-funding, not-for-profit charity delivering contemporary programs focussed on family, healthy living, developing young people and those less fortunate. The Y's impact on many of today's biggest social challenges is significant with its diverse programs and services generating more than four million visits every year across 100 locations in 35 communities in NSW.

The role of the Y in building strong people, strong families and strong communities has never been more important. It is one of few not-for-profit organisations tacking today's "social diseases" associated with sedentary lifestyles, mental health and disconnection.

Age is no barrier to fun, fitness and friendship for YMCA Pryme Movers. More than just exercise programs the Pryme Movers philosophy embraces three elements: Fitness, Fun and Friendship for the mature population; building stronger people in body, mind and spirit.
