Due to the recent closure of The Weir Café in Audley, unfortunately there will no longer be an opportunity for participants to purchase their lunch at the event. Therefore, we please ask all participants to bring their own packed lunch on the day.

Step Out and Get Active! at the Royal National Park

Bookings: Bookings Open Friday January 31 2014 at 9am.

To make a Booking Request, please fill out the online booking request form on or after Friday January 31, 2014. Please fill out 1 request form per person.

Booking confirmations will be sent out via post at the beginning of March and will indicate which preference you were successful in (bookings are made on a first in first served basis).

Lunch Time: There will be special lunch time entertainment. Lunch will take place between 12:00pm and 1:00pm at the Commonwealth Pavilion, Audley.

If you are on the All Day Coast Walk you will need to take a packed lunch.

Active Seniors NSW – Kick Start the Day!

This year’s 2014 NSW Seniors Week ’Family Member’ who will be at Active Seniors NSW – Step Out & Get Active is Ann Cusack. Ann is a 70 year old fitness instructor for people of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Fit and fabulous herself, she teaches aqua aerobics, step classes, personal training classes, active over-50s programs, seniors boot camps, and nutrition.

Ann competed in marathons until surgical intervention slowed her down, an understanding of which she shares with her senior fitness students. She will be conducting our morning Warm-up, ensuring were all stretched and ready for a day full of activities.

Arrival and Registration:

Upon arrival, please make your way to the Event Registration Meeting Point at the Commonwealth Pavilion in Audley from 8:00am to receive your name tag. Tea and coffee will be provided and you will be welcomed by a National Parks Discovery Ranger at 9:00am. You will then be split up into your activity groups and shuttled to your activity location.

Lunch:

Step Out & Get Active will provide Tea & Coffee FREE to seniors throughout the day.

Active Seniors NSW reserves the right to modify or cancel the event or any activities if unforeseen circumstances arise. If we cancel we shall inform you as soon as possible.

Activities will run in any weather conditions except where the National Parks and Wildlife Service deem it too dangerous, i.e. in extreme fire danger or flooding.
